It's Easy!

In a few simple steps WeightLossWars allows you to create weight loss or exercise competitions among your friends and family. You can compete belly to belly, or team against team. It is your competition, you build it how you want, and compete against who you want, for the prizes you want

For every competition you receive a personalized “Arena” that displays the status of everyone you invited into your competition. The “Arena” includes:
Weight loss competition, Weight loss Contests & Weight Loss Games, Diet Challenge & Diet Contest
  • A Leader board to show up-to-the-minute who is leading the pack
  • A Discussion board where you can post motivating or trash talking messages
  • Interactive graphs to chart the progress of your competitor or to compare them to movie stars or barn yard animals
  • The treasure chest that everyone is competing for.
  • Links to weight loss professionals and best of all...
  • the "Sabotage" button
Each competitor also receives their own “Personal” page where they can record their exercise and food intake into helpful logs. The “Personal” page includes:
  • Exercise and Nutrition Logs
  • Goal management center
  • Weight loss history
  • Personalized progress graphs
Each competitor also has access to other helpful tools, including:

Creating a competition is simple. All it takes is a few simple steps.

Step 1

Select what type of competition (Arena) you want to create. In each of the choices below you can select to have an“Everyone vs Everyone” format, or a “Team” format. The choices are…
  1. Corporate: Choose this Arena if you are a business manager and want to host a weight loss competition at work among your employees.
  2. family/friends: Choose this arena to compete against a number of your friends or family.
  3. Partner/Spouse: Choose this arena to compete against 1 other person or against 1 pair (i.e. you and your spouse competing against your brother and his spouse).

Step 2

Select the "Award" that the winner will get, how "long" you want the competition to run and the "judging" method. The Award can be a bundle of cash that each competitor contributed to, you can put up the Cash Prize all yourself, or it can be an "other" award that you decide! The competition can be any length you want and the judging methods are 'total weight lost' and 'highest % of body weight lost.' Both judging methods work for either the “Everyone vs Everyone” or “Team” format.

Step 3

Create a “Challenging” email using the WeightLossWars letter engine to invite your friends into the competition. Here is a line from a recent letter

“I can tell just by looking at those funky shoes you’ve been wearing that you haven’t seen your feet in a while. Well, quit yer whining, you’re not the only one. I’ve got more rolls than a bakery, and I’m ready for a change. I’m inviting the whole family into this challenge and everyone ponies up (that is if you can still reach into your own pocket), we throw it into the pot, and at the end of 16 weeks the guy who’s lost the most weight walks away a rich man. And don’t think I’m putting this to you out of the kindness of my heart -- I’m just looking forward to taking your money. This is a no holds-barred battle of the bulge. With a twist, that is.”

Step 4

Enter the email addresses of those you want to receive your invitation. WeightLossWars keeps all email addresses private and does not give information to third parties. View our privacy statement for more information.

Create a username and password and charge the service fee to your credit card and you are done! Your Weight Loss or Exercise War will begin!
